Cielo B. Maasin
Cielo is a Senior Legal Advisor at Cabrera & Company, with practice focused on public-private partnerships (PPP), infrastructure, tax, and regulatory advisory. As part of her role, she provides end-to-end legal and regulatory advisory support for complex transactions, including project structuring, legal due diligence, contract drafting and review, and regulatory compliance. She advises local and multinational clients on cross-border transactions, tax structuring, and market entry strategies, ensuring alignment with Philippine laws. With experience supporting companies from Japan, China, and Brunei, she brings a strong understanding of complex regulatory landscapes.
Her practice also covers infrastructure and PPP projects across sectors such as transport, renewable energy, ICT, healthcare, and real estate. Cielo provides end-to-end legal support, including project structuring, due diligence, contract drafting, and regulatory advisory. She has experience guiding clients through project development stage and procurement stage, as well as advising investors on renewable energy developments, including legal, tax, and compliance requirements in the Philippines.
Cielo is both a Licensed Lawyer and a Certified Public Accountant. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Accountancy degree from Holy Name University in 2015 and her Juris Doctor degree from University of San Carlos in 2022. She was admitted to the Philippine bar on May 2023.
