Charilyn Caliwag
Cha is a Senior Legal Advisor at Cabrera & Company, a member firm of the PwC network. Her legal experiences include litigation, legal and regulatory consultation, contract review involving the application of civil and commercial laws, labor due diligence, legal due diligence for the drafting of facility loan agreements and acquisition, corporate secretarial services, tax audit and refund cases and estate settlement.
Cha was also a Senior Tax Manager at Isla Lipana & Co.likewise a member firm of the PwC network, where she handled tax consultancy, tax assessments, corporate structuring, application for certificate of tax exemption with the BIR, tax treaty relief application, tax refund, and applicaiton for merger and increase in capital stock with the SEC. Prior to joining PwC, Cha previously worked as an external auditor in a medium-sized accounting firm, senior finance analyst in a BPO engaged in the petroleum industry and as an assistant manager in an industry engaged in the trading of medical supplies and equipment.
Cha is a CPA Lawyer. She earned her Juris Doctor degree at the San Sebastian College Recoletos Manila and her Bachelor of Science in Accountancy degree at Polytechnic University of the Philippines. She is a member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines.
